Lauren is in the house...............

Everyone was busy this weekend and Lauren needed someplace to go, so...............

I win, she's spending the weekend with me!!!!!

I picked her up on Friday after work and we headed straight home, with a quick detour to the grocery store. Home sweet home, pizza for supper and lots of TV rounded out the evening.

Saturday morning found us sleeping in, playing cards and making cupcakes. Yummy!!!!!!

After lunch we were looking for something to do, so we decided to head out to Hitchcock Nature Center to leave some surprise cupcakes for Cindy and Jen. They were having a "sister's weekend, camping and hiking at the park". Nobody was home, at their tent, so we left the cupcakes and headed out for a hike. It was a beautiful afternooon for a walk in the woods.

After the hike we headed to Modale for a pot luck supper at church and a piano concert afterwards. The food was incredible and the concert was awesome. Brian Hansen, a friend of our pastor's, and a musician from Nashville does a great show.

We got home and decided to watch some TV, but Lauren didn't last very long.

Nothing better than snuggling up with a cat to round out a busy day!!!!!
